Street Food Bonanza

Food Trucks

Every Monday night at Arts Young Circle in downtown Hollywood, a multitude of food trucks surround the park offering quality and a variety of international food.

From 5:30 – 10:00 pm, the entire family can venture out to the park to enjoy music, food and street performers for a fun filled evening.

Street Food Bonanza

Variety for Your Palate

Approximately 20 different gourmet food trucks congregate to provide visitors with tantalizing dinner offerings ranging from Pad Thai to cheese on everything. It is accurate to say there is a good chance something for even the most discriminating taste will be offered.

These are not your ordinary trucks either; gone are the trucks of old, with dull silver metal outer frames. These trucks are as interesting and as colorful as the food within them. Featuring culinary photographs of the smorgasbord of the delicious and often nutritious food being sold, these trucks are a pleasure to behold.

The Arts Park makes a nice backdrop for this weekly event. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets along with their appetite to picnic on the grass lawn. With plenty of picnic worthy areas, locals and visitors can sit comfortably to enjoy their meals under the huge and unique trees of life which provide a shady canopy.

If You Go

Parking around the circle is free and plentiful. A bike ride into the area offers a different view and experience. Though the diverse street food of the food trucks is a perfect meet up, the quaint downtown Hollywood area has lots of shops, cafes and restaurants to explore. The options for the evening’s entertainment are plenty.

There are so many food trucks that trying all of them can only be done on repeated visits however, repeat visitors recommend the Jerked Brisket sandwich from The Rolling Stove. This sandwich is a masterful mix of flavors with a zing. Another favorite is the duck sandwich and kimchee egg rolls from Sakaya Kitchen. If you are an Asian Fusion fan, you are sure to be awed by this inspired combination.

For culinary artists, this event could be a source of inspiration because of all the unusual blend of ingredients presented as viable meals.

There are many food truck options in the line up for Monday night. Some include:

-Artesanos Coffee
-B.C. Tacos
-Boba Station
